Is it time to BUY or Build your “ideal” home?

A point comes in life where many things come into one’s mind as one questions him/herself like “is it time to buy a new home?” but another set of questions try to join in: “will I just build a new home?” and “I Already have a home, but I’m not satisfied with it I think I’d just rather modify it, will I?”. These are what I think the most frequent ones that are contemplated by person who are in a crossroads of decisions on whether to move to a new home or just stay in the current one and try to modify/edit it to make living in it with more comfortable.
If you BUY a new home, you’ll save yourself from all the hectic schedules of trying to build a new one; all the necessary materials to be bought, meetings with contractors that you’ll hire as you try to conceptualize your “ideal home”, and of course, the months, probably year-long, process of building it. It’s just like waiting on a new program to be installed on your computer, only much, much, longer, and the longer it takes, the more chances you get frustrated and anxious of seeing what the result would be, if it would be a “success” or an “error”.
If you really want to truly experience the definition of “the ideal home” though, then you might as well do all that was mentioned above in order to BUILD your home, all you have to do is to become devoted to all the hard-work that is to be undertaken, and put your “creative-but-careful” side into the conceptualization process, along with the right team of experts, Real Estate Agents, etc., then it will all pay off eventually for you.
What if you already have a home? It’s simple, if you really want to save money and time in all your efforts, then you might as well just MODIFY whatever it is that seems to prevent your vision of a perfect and “ideal” home. Maybe dents in roofs, unnecessary window placing, inadequate living room space, the need for a second floor for whatever reasons one has, parking lot space, and all other similar aspects. All these things, if you just put it into the right kind of strategy, then you are definitely on the right track on your pursuit to trying to find your “ideal home”.
